Craig’s background combines residential building design with a strong understanding of documentation, structural drafting and how construction decisions actually play out on site. That mix gives Blencowe Design a practical edge: design intent is supported by buildable drawings and careful technical thinking.
The practice is deliberately small, but the range is broad: new homes, alterations and additions, granny flats and dual occupancy, and high-performance homes. Whatever the scale, the same things get taken seriously — comfort, durability, airtightness, insulation, thermal bridges, moisture control and documentation quality.
Craig has experience designing Passivhaus homes using PHPP, alongside broader high-performance residential work where Passivhaus thinking informs the envelope, orientation, services strategy and construction detailing.
